What is a direct download?
A direct download means that you will receive a notification e-mail directly after we have received your payment. This e-mail contains a link to a page where you can download the purchased loop pack. No more waiting for CD's to arrive in the mail, you can start using the Atypical Audio loops immediately after you've purchased them. Please note that on some e-mail systems the notification e-mail can take up to five minutes to arrive in your inbox.

How does your system work?
Atypical Audio uses Paypal to accept your payments. E-Junkie hosts the files sold on this website and provides you with the download link after you have completed your purchase. This link stays active for 72 hours (3 days) or three download attempts, whichever option is used first. Users buying Atypical Audio products via eBay will be serviced by the Tradebit file hosting system. Here also you have 72 hours to pick up the files.

What payment types do you accept?
Atypical Audio currently accepts VISA, Mastercard and Paypal. Everything is handled through the Paypal system, ensuring an easy and secure transaction. We do not get to see your credit card information and all transactions are handled over a secure, encrypted SSL connection.

I never received a confirmation e-mail. What should I do?
First of all, in rare cases it takes an e-mail a few minutes to arrive. If you haven't received any e-mail at all, the first thing to do is to check your junk and spam folder. The notification e-mail could end up in there, depening on how your provider's e-mail system handles incoming messages. Another reason might be that you have filled in an e-mail address that does not exist. Please use our contact form to get in touch in case none of the above seems to apply to you. Note that download links can not be sent to a different e-mail address than the one used at the sime of purchase unless you include the Paypal transaction ID. You will find this transaction ID in the Paypal confirmation e-mail sent after your purchase.

I have paid via PayPal eCheck and I can't download the files I've ordered. What should I do?
For eCheck there will be some time before your payment is approved. According to PayPal, it can take up until 10 business days for eCheck funds to clear. Once PayPal has authorized your transaction you will receive an email confirmation and you will be able to download your purchase. If you have any further questions regarding eCheck payments, please contact PayPal directly as Atypical Audio does not have any involvement in transaction authorization. We advise to use a standard Paypal transaction as your method of payment.

What about privacy?
Firstly, all transactions are handled through Paypal. Atypical Audio does not get to see your credit card information. Secondly, we hate spam as much as you do. This means that full privacy is guaranteed when subscribing to the mailing list. Your e-mail address will never be shared, nor will you receive more that two messages per month.

What does royalty-free mean? Are there any restrictions on using the loops?
Royalty-free means that you can use the Atypical Audio loops in your own musical productions without paying any royalties. Should you end up writing a chart-busting tune containing any of the loops then you don't have to worry about paying any royalties to Atypical Audio. In legal speak: you have the non-exclusive, perpetual right to use these samples in your musical productions. However, Atypical Audio remains owner and master licensee of the loops. You may not distribute the loops in original or other formats as samples, programs or patches in any device, website or computer. In other words: don't copy, resell or distribute the loops libraries. This also applies to the free sounds made available on the Atypical Audio website.

Do you provide different downloads for PC and Mac users?
The loop packs are provided in PC format (.wav) and Mac format (.aif). You can select this format on each product page when adding a loop pack to your shopping cart.

Can I get my money back if I don't like what I purchased?
Atypical Audio does not provide a return policy, as the products involved are digitally distributed. Please listen to the preview samples before you buy. You will get a feel of what the loops are about. This will help you deciding before buying.
